Security Fence Installation Project

Help Us Secure Our School with a New Fence!

As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of our students, faculty and staff, we are raising funds to install a security fence around our campus. This will help deter unauthorized access, protect against vandalism, and provide a safer learning environment.

​

Why We Need Your Help: Recent security concerns have highlighted the need for additional measures. A sturdy security fence will provide peace of mind for everyone in our school community, creating a safe and protected space for our students to thrive. 

​

Project Details:

  • Total Cost: $100,000.00

  • Location: Outer perimeter of the school building and parking lot

  • Funds will be used for materials, labor, and installation.

School Building Renovations

Help Us Transform Our School for Future Generations!

We are excited to announce that we would like to begin a renovation project at Cassata and need your support to make it a success. Our school is in desperate need of improvements to ensure that our students, faculty and staff have the best and safest learning environment possible. These renovations will make a lasting impact on the education and well-being of all those who use our facilities. 

​

Why Building Renovations are Needed:

  • Exterior Building Repairs: Our school building is in need of an elastomeric coating to repair the plaster. This will not only conserve energy but will also eliminate leaks and other elements from entering the building. We have received quotes ranging from $78,000.00 to $81,000.00.

  • Security Back Door Replacement: Our hollow metal back door needs to be replaced to ensure a safer school environment. The replacement cost is $4,000.00.

 

The Impact of Your Donation: These renovations will improve the learning environment for students, provide a safer space for everyone, and make our school a place where students, faculty and staff can thrive.

Our Student's Safety Is Our Top Priority​

​

As we continue to enhance our security measures at Cassata, we have implemented a School Resource Officer (SRO) program. To sustain and improve this vital program, we are seeking contributions from generous donors, businesses, and organizations who recognize the importance of investing in our students’ safety.

​

Why School Security Funding Is Needed:

  • A School Resource Officer's presence plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment, offering support in conflict resolution, and building positive relationships between law enforcement and our students. The SRO also ensures that any security concerns are promptly and professionally addressed, providing peace of mind for everyone in our school community. 

  • This commitment carries a significant financial burden, which was covered by a security grant provided by the State of Texas to private schools for the 2023-24 school year. Regrettably, we were notified that funding would no longer be available for our schools in the 2024-25 school year. Although the grant funding has been altered, we are dedicated to ensuring qualified, armed protection at our campus.

 

The Impact of Your Donation:  Your support will directly fund the compensation and resources required to retain our School Resource Officer program, allowing us to continue fostering a secure, supportive, and enriching learning environment.

How You Can Help: We kindly ask for your consideration of a financial contribution to this initiative. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact and help ensure that our school remains a safe space for all who walk through its doors. Based on the Catholic School Security fund's comprehensive plan, here are a few options to consider that will make a difference: 

  • $70 provides security for one child for an hour

  • $140 provides security for two children for an hour

  • $400 provides security for one student for a year

  • $600 provides security for the school for 1 day

  • $3,000 provides security for an entire child class for a day

  • $10,000 provides for all of the security needs of the school for one month
